Offboarding
Définition
The Offboarding is the process surrounding the departure of an employee from a company, whether as a result of a resignation, dismissal, or retirement. This is an important step that must be managed carefully to ensure a smooth transition and minimize the impact on the team or business. This process includes several aspects: administrative management (delivery of end-of-contract documents, return of equipment), recovery of computer access, reassignment of tasks, and possibly an initial interview to collect feedback. Well managed, offboarding maintains a good relationship with the outgoing employee, which can facilitate future returns or contribute to the company's reputation. It also ensures that critical information is passed on and that any gaps in the team are quickly filled.
